Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground beef 80/20
  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy.
  • Remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving the grease in the pan.
  • Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Drain excess grease if needed, then stir in the cooked bacon.
  • Add beef broth, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if using.
  • Simmer on low for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chili thickens.
  • Stir in butter for extra richness and let it melt into the chili.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add more cayenne or a few dashes of hot sauce.
If you prefer a thicker chili, reduce the beef broth slightly or let it simmer longer.
For extra richness, mix in a little shredded cheese or a dollop of sour cream before serving.
