Ingredients
  

  • 2 large zucchini sliced lengthwise into ½-inch thick "steaks"
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season zucchini slices with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Sear zucchini for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly tender.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the zucchini steaks and cover the skillet.
  • Cook for 2 more minutes until the cheese melts. Serve hot.
