Carnivore Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken tenders or sliced chicken breast
  • 8-10 strips of bacon thin-cut works best
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper optional
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika optional, omit for strict carnivore
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder optional, omit for strict carnivore

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.
  • Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder if using.
  • Wrap each chicken tender tightly with a strip of bacon, slightly overlapping the edges.
  • Place the bacon-wrapped chicken on the baking sheet, seam side down.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is fully cooked (internal temp of 165°F).
  • For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy texture, use a wire rack to allow air circulation around the tenders.
Make it dairy-free by avoiding butter-based seasonings.
For a smoky kick, brush with a little butter and sprinkle with crushed pork rinds before baking.
Serve with a side of sugar-free ranch or melted butter for dipping.
