Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 10 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish
- Steamed white rice for serving
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper, then coat the shrimp evenly in the mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat, add the shrimp, and cook for about two minutes per side until golden brown and opaque.
- Reduce heat to low, add melted butter and minced garlic, and stir continuously for one to two minutes until fragrant.
- Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and toss to coat.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot with steamed white rice and lemon wedges.
