Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded chicken cooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Carnivore-friendly tortillas or thin slices of beef jerky if using beef jerky, soften slightly
  • Butter or cooking spray for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, shredded cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Lay out the tortillas or softened beef jerky slices.
  • Spoon the chicken and cheese mixture onto each tortilla or jerky slice and roll it tightly to form a taquito.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Lightly coat the taquitos with butter or cooking spray.
  • Place the taquitos in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they’re not touching.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy on their own.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute the cream cheese with a dairy-free alternative and use a non-dairy cheese.
To make a more substantial meal, try adding a bit of cooked bacon to the filling for extra flavor.
